WHAT IS THE WORLD PUNTING
CHALLENGE?
The World Punting Challenge is your chance to win a trip of a
lifetime for you and a friend to the 2008 Royal Ascot Carnival. Run from
the first race of the day until 8pm on all Saturdays in September,
your aim is to place a bet and to produce the highest "dividend to the dollar".
You can choose any bet type you wish and the bet can be on any code of your
choice (thoroughbred, harness or greyhounds).
CALCULATING YOUR "DIVIDEND TO THE DOLLAR"
Simply divide your collect amount by your outlay. For example, if
you had a bet of $10 and collected $300, your "dividend to the dollar" would be
$30. You can use the "dividend to the dollar" calculator located on the right
hand side of this page for ease.
THE LEADERBOARD
A live leaderboard showing the highest Victorian and New South
Wales "dividend to the dollar" dividends will be displayed on this page as well
as on-screen in TAB outlets, so you will always know what amount you need to
beat.
At the close of play each Saturday, the one lucky New South Wales
punter and the one lucky Victorian punter who have produced the highest
"dividend to the dollar" at either a TAB outlet, over the phone or via the
internet will advance through to the Grand Final on Caulfield Cup Day. On Grand
Final Day, finalists will play-off for a trip of a lifetime to Royal Ascot!
ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS (PHONE AND INTERNET): HOW TO ENTER

Place a bet on any thoroughbred, harness or greyhound race between 8am and 8pm
on any Saturday in September.

If you receive a collect, divide the amount you collected by what you outlaid
(eg: $300 collect, outlaid $10 = $30 dividend to the dollar)

If your amount is higher than what you see on the leaderboard, simply register
your bet by calling:

Please note:
This number is strictly for the registration of bets placed either over the
phone or via the internet.

If at the end of the day you're on top of the leaderboard, you're
into the Grand Final! You can enter as many times as you want, but remember you
must register your ticket by 8:30pm on the same day the bet was placed.
